Bringing together several storylines with precision readers will find that the immature and unknowlegable characters they encounter at the beginning of the book will quickly realize their destinies and converging fates - and thereby expand as people - by the final page. Set in a valley shrouded by secrets, the magic of this land combines with the deep emotional resonances of the characters to create a mystery which pulls you into the vortex of the story. Although there are a few unresolved issues and questions left to the reader when the book finishes, one can only expect that the story will continue to full completion with the next installment in the series. This will be an easy and enjoyable read for any who enjoy powerful fantasy tales.
