The book was in great shape, however, the description, to the best of my recollection, didn't say it had been autographed by the author, or I would have purchased a different one. I know the author and was going to have her autograph this book, but after seeing where she had autographed it to "her dear, special friend for life" I didn't have the heart to ask her to autograph it for me and show her just how unvalued her book was by her "dear, special friend" that had let it go for resale. But, the book is a great read, I actually shared it with friends sitting with me during my chemo sessions, and they loved it too. It was also in like new condition.
